I’m a senior writer for Boston Children’s Hospital, telling the stories of remarkable kids and the talented people who care for them.

Before that, I wrote more than 10,000 bylined articles and earned leading journalism industry recognition — including the New England Press Association’s Journalist of the Year honor — over a nearly 20-year run as a reporter.

I also dabbled in freelance writing, shaping organizations’ undeveloped and sometimes complicated ideas into understandable and persuasive content. My clients included Massachusetts General Hospital’s charitable arm and educational institute, Boston College, IBM, ADP, MasterCard, Northrop Grumman, and other recognizable brand names.

Writing is arguably the most rewarding profession this side of playing point guard for the Boston Celtics. I intend to use this website as a gateway to my writings – published and unpublished – and share the journeys taken to put black on white.
