Alberto has worked in the financial services industry for 10 years. He earned a B.A. in Finance from Pace University while working full-time. He later began his banking career at JP Morgan where he was selected for a 2-year international expat assignment in Brazil. His exposure to a new culture allowed him to achieve immense personal growth as he advanced to Senior Project Manager of Global Corporate Bank projects, driving the development of the strategic operating model to help the firm expand its lending services in Latin America.

Alberto has broad civic engagement exposure serving as the head of Adelante’s Professional Development, a top JP Morgan employee resource group. He was a volunteer in the Bankers Without Borders program in Peru, contributing to the development of a risk management framework for a growing Micro Finance institution whose mission is to facilitate access to financial services. Alberto Estrella is currently a Vice President in the Global Technology division at Evercore Partners based in New York. He leads IT program management work streams focused on technology infrastructure projects, client services, and business management initiatives to enhance the firm’s technology services while optimizing business continuity planning and strategic communications systems.

Alberto is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Colombia University. Alberto enjoys movies, travel, and sports and has recently delved into becoming a wine connoisseur.
