Alberto Munoz

Alberto Munoz is a leader in high school academia, athletics, and community functions. He previously held the position of head soccer coach at Judson High School in Converse, Texas and Reagan High School in San Antonio. Currently, he is the defensive and special teams coordinator for the football team at Dilley High School in Dilley, Texas. He is also certified to teach English, Spanish, and also holds his certification for school principal. He received his B.A. in English at St. Mary’s University and his M. Ed. in Educational Administration at Lamar University. A passionate advocate for local organizations and student involvement, Alberto helped lead teams to achieve spots in state championship games and retain 100% eligibility rates. Alberto also co-directs an annual memorial run held in honor of his brother. The Joey Muñoz Memorial 5K Run has been going on for 26 years and all proceeds from the event are donated to nonprofits in Laredo, Texas, where Alberto began his coaching career. Alberto is a member of organizations including Knights of Columbus and the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches.
