I embrace a teaching career as an opportunity to inspire and instill the importance of education.Learning is a process of active engagement with experience; I believe that dedication to learning should come from the home. It is the responsibility of a parent to instill morals and teach their children to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between other people and strategies to embrace the challenges they have to face with pride. It is my responsibility as an educator to make sense of the process, and to instill in students the desire to learn more. Effective learning leads to change, development, and the desire to learn more.

My role as an educator is to give students the tools to develop their knowledge. I will teach to the needs of each student so they may feel capable and successful, while guiding students to become successful adults for our communities.

My goal as an educator is to instill the values of life and the values of education. My classroom will be a caring and safe environment where the students can become responsible for themselves and their own learning. I will implement the tools needed for them to become successful in their lives while encouraging them to believe in themselves. Education should be a part of everyone’s life. As a mother of three, I am reminded constantly how much education is important. Education is a necessity not a privilege. The privilege is in the position; so many great educators have touched my children’s lives in ways that have made them better people intellectually and while providing a sense of humility to their characters. I am honored to become an outstanding educator, to be a role model for my students and promote the education they deserve to succeed in their challenges of life. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, while displaying my own passion for learning with them.

…There is no place I’d rather be than in a classroom.
