Alcides Segui

Alcides Segui is a communication professional with nearly 25 years of experience in journalism. "Pick something and be passionate about it" are words he lives by, and his desire to excel in all he does has been evident throughout his time as a college athlete, a reporter and news anchor, and now as he pivots into a career in public relations.

One of the defining elements of Alcides' work is his desire to bring people closer together. During his time as a journalist, he loved getting to spread the news of a community that's directly applicable to the people of a small town or a big city. The result? Alcides was a journalist who constantly broke stories first, but not simply for the sake of adding to the noise but because he truly wanted to uncover the truth in hopes of fostering an environment where a community could grow closer to one another.

As Alcides Segui pivots from a career in Journalism to PR/Communication, he's still excited about fostering a united, efficient, and edifying environment; the difference now being his expertise will shine through within the context of a business instead of a small town or big city.

Alcides received his B.S. in Journalism from Florida A&M University, and his career experience includes working as an Anchor/Reporter/Photographer/Editor for smaller markets all the way up to working as a Morning Weekend Anchor and Reporter in Tampa, Florida.

Past positions include working as a Reporter/Producer/Editor for WCTV-6; as an Anchor/Reporter/Photographer/Editor for WWSB-7; as an Anchor/Reporter for WAAY-31; and as a Morning Weekend Anchor/Reporter for WTVT-Fox 13.
