As a B Ed student, I realize that my colleagues and I are responsible for shaping the new generation and motivating the kids. Adding the spark for them to be excited about the future. And this can be achieved if I, myself, am hopeful about the future and what it holds.
We are at a time where the world feels like it is ending; with never-ending wars, climate change, and inflation amongst other things, and it is so very easy to decide on giving up on life in general. These kids/students/learners will need someone to look up to, to believe in. And I feel this deep sense of duty to be that person, because if not me, then who?
