Alec Reid is an aspiring broadcaster and play-by-play commentator. As a former university football quarterback at the University of Guelph, Alec brought a diverse sports background into Ryerson University, where he is currently studying Sport Media.

During his time at Ryerson, Alec has become a lead play-by-play commentator for the Ryerson Rams men's hockey team, the lead colour commentator for the Canadian University Sports Network's football coverage, started his own podcast called The Big and Tall Sports Show, as well as starting an internet radio station, Rally Towel Radio.

Currently working with TSN as a statistician with the CFL, Alec is looking to become a lead voice for play-by-play commentary in the future.
