Engr Daniel Ale (MNSE), Partner and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), leads Prunedge’s Engineering which includes Software Development, Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Cyber-Security lines of services. Having spent the past 15 years developing solutions along these four lines, Daniel is an Engineer, Mentor and Machine Learning Enthusiast with experience building large scale complex data-driven Software Applications and IoT systems. Having led different teams to deliver critical projects across diverse domains, including Agriculture, Health, Edutech, Consulting, FinTech, and several others. He has a strong passion for technology and people, as well as extensive experience building scalable and secured enterprise systems. He enjoys teaching, given his background as a University Lecturer and Researcher.

Prior to joining Prunedge, Daniel served as the Chief Technology Officer and Technical Director for Zone Tech Park, a Tech Subsidiary of The Workforce Group, a company that specializes in Software Development and Tech Recruitment for organizations. He joined Zone Tech Park from Andela, where he worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Daniel started his career at Federal Univerisity of Technology Akure as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, where he specialized in Embedded Computing and Signal processing. He has also taught at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.

Daniel is a registered Engineer with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, and also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer and Signal Processing Societies. He received a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering science from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), with a PhD in view.
