Andrew Lee is a freshman at the University of Tennessee in Koxville. Lee grew up in Louisville, Kentucky but now calls Morristown, Tennessee his home. He is a member of the Varsity Baseball Team and is majoring in Kinesiology with a focus in pre-med, where his degree in Health and Human Sciences is expected in May of 2016. Lee was selected to be on the Dean's List for the fall semester of 2012.
Lee has had extensive experience as a volunteer in the Knoxville area during his first year at Tennessee. His efforts include working at the East Tennessee Children's hospital, working with the youth at baseball clinics, and assisting at youth camps sponsored by the Tennessee baseball team. Lee was also the manager of his own landscaping firm every summer from 2008-2012.
As a member of the Tennessee baseball team Lee was the first true freshman to start in the clean-up spot for Tennessee since 1990. He is a first baseman and right handed pitcher for the Volunteers. In his firt year with the team Lee has a .216 batting average and also has 1 homerun and 9 RBI.
Lee plans to follow his dream of becoming a professional baseball player after his collegiate career has ended, and he has received his Bachelor's of Education Health and Human Sciences in Kinesiology at Tennessee. He hopes to pursue a job in the field of sports medicine after his playing career has come to an end.
