I am a psychology graduate who has 4 years of experience working with individuals with special needs. I enjoy supporting children at summer camps, weekend respite, and in the classroom. As an aspiring school psychologist, I crafted an 86-page resource handbook for frontline staff working with individuals with disabilities; I am extremely passionate about making evidence-based research more usable in everyday settings.
Over the past several years, I have worked closely with children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. In the classroom, I help implement behavior support plans that guide students towards classroom participation and emotional regulation. My long term goal is to pursue graduate studies and help children and families access effective supports in schools.
In my free time, I really enjoy being outdoors, crocheting, going to the gym, and spending time with friends. I also love to paint and spend a lot of time with my cat :)
