Alessandro Fusaro

Alessandro was born and raised in Turin, a lovely city in the northern part of Italy. Curiosity and a good amount of luck in terms of decision making have been important ingredients of his varied path of life.

After classical studies in an European experimental high school, he started his career studying Mathematics applied to Engineering at Politecnico di Torino University, he graduated with a thesis on an original software in support to medical investigation, at Cardiology Department of "Umberto I" Hospital in Turin.

For his Master of Science Degree he chose a new and promising experimental course, Media and Communication Engineering, which aims at combining competencies belonging to different fields such Media Studies, Design and Computer Science.

His experiences abroad enhanced his European feeling and gave him opportunities to open up to the world, discovering new cultures and places and studying in Universities of excellence such as Carlos III University in Madrid and Delft University of Technology.

Alessandro always had the passion for television, film, entertainment, multimedia and interactivity, and he strongly believes in the social role that entertainment has.

He is also passionate about tourism and traveling, in his opinion the best way to spend one's time and money.

Among the other work experiences he had, without any doubt the one at Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana has been the most exciting. He's been working in the Production department of the 63rd, 64th and 65th editions of Prix Italia, international competition for television, radio and web. Another important formative experience is his three-year commitment at OndeQuadre webRadio and webTV, the Politecnico di Torino Multimedia Portal, where he worked as an author, editor, scriptwriter, presenter and assistant director for original formats.

He's a curious, creative and tireless worker, he's good in working in international and multicultural teams and learns quickly and profitably.

He is worked for Backroads, the world's #1 active travel company as area responsible for Sicily, Italy, from April 2013 until November 2016.

He also graduated from the Collège des Ingénieurs MBA program in Paris, in partnership with Scuola di Alta Formazione al Management in Turin.

From October 2015 until February 2017 he worked in the External Relations and Communications department at Edison SpA, Europe's oldest energy firm. In particular, he worked
