Alejandra Chavez is a second year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business Administration at Texas Tech University. She is currently majoring in accounting and hopes to someday work for a corporate accounting firm. In order to be successful after graduation she is currently seeking internships during the summer so that she may be able to gain experience and to be able and stand out more to recruiters. She is currently working for the Texas Tech Law School as a front desk receptionist for the OASP library. She also works in the AVID program for Lubbock Independent School District, which is a college preparatory program offered to middle school and high school students.
While she takes her education very seriously, Alejandra understands the importance of being involved in extracurricular activities. She was recently elected to be Treasurer for The Collegiate 100 at Texas Tech University. She is also part of the Mentor Tech program on campus.
