Alejandra Marin is a Ph.D. candidate in Texas University Rawls College of Business Area of Management. Her areas of interests include social structure and human agency, interrelations among actors, and strategic behavior. She enjoys reading contemporary sociology, social psychology and applying them to the study of management, especially entrepreneurship.

Alejandra holds a BA in management from Los Andes University in Colombia. During her undergraduate studies, she worked with SME in their processes of internationalization. She then went to the Netherlands to pursue her Masters in Business Research at Maastricht University. While being there, Alejandra took classes in behavioral economics and explored different approaches to study entrepreneurship.
