From Biology to Real-Time Worlds
My professional journey began in scientific research, where I built a solid foundation in data analysis, methodological rigor, and complex problem-solving. Today, I translate that same analytical structure into game development as a Technical Environment Artist, merging the logic of science with technical art.
My approach goes beyond visual composition. I am passionate about understanding the internal logic of tools, mastering shader programming, and optimizing engine workflows. Rather than creating static scenes, I build interactive environments that evoke real sensations—ensuring that a night mist feels cool or that fine details convey a specific atmosphere—while always guaranteeing everything runs smoothly and efficiently in real-time.
Core Strengths:
- Technical Rigor & Optimization: A proactive focus on performance and memory management, isolating bugs and resolving technical issues autonomously before they impact production.
- Self-Driven Learning & Adaptability: An accelerated learning curve for mastering complex software, new methodologies, and procedural workflows.
- Environmental Storytelling & Organic Logic: A unique perspective derived from biology to understand how the physical world behaves. This allows me to apply realistic, coherent details—such as dust accumulation, material weathering, or vegetation growth—to any environment.
- International Collaboration & Documentation: Native Spanish speaker with a strong command of English (C1) and Japanese (N3), enabling smooth integration into multicultural teams. Proven ability to draft clear technical guides and documentation.
Currently, I am further specializing in game engines (Unity & Unreal Engine), procedural pipelines, and environment dynamics.
