Alejandro Delgado

My experiences are diverse and have been in a variety of industries. However, what ties them all together is my unending quest for continued knowledge, growth, adaptation and evolution.

My formal education began in hospitality services, where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management. I then pursued my attraction to create beautiful spaces by acquiring training in Interior Design and Remodeling. As technology advanced, I upgraded myself by joining a school for Graphic & Web Design, allowing me to combine art and technology to create visual concepts. I also pursued Personal Training, Nutrition and a career in Gastronomy, acquiring skills in fusions and new trends such as Peruvian and Novo-Andean cuisines.

My proficiency and outgoing personality propelled me to positions of responsibility, managing personnel and supervising staff to ensure quality service and exceptional standards in presentation. My abilities in menu development, budget management, nutrition and staff training elevated the standards of the establishments under my management, continuing to hold true to the concepts of effective customer service, flexibility, fairness in conflict resolution, and maintenance of a professional appearance.

Being skilled at Microsoft Publisher and Graphic Design programs allowed me to create a wide variety of marketing materials for several organizations and establishments, from theme-restaurant menus to flyers, promotional packages and full corporate images, among other promotional items. I completed my understanding with a skillful use of the Internet and its ample range of advertising modalities.

My academic and employment experiences have enhanced my individual growth, preparing me for an active role in an increasingly complex world. My commitment to developing completeness within myself reaches beyond the limitations of classroom learning, integrating all dimensions of life – intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional, social and cross-cultural. Recognizing the inter-relatedness of knowledge, experience, and standard learning motivates me to continue to absorb from every activity, every culture, and every belief.
