I’m Alejandro Gómez Cobo, an entrepreneur and CEO based in Querétaro, Mexico. I studied accounting at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where I graduated with honours. After finishing school, I spent more than a decade working on my family’s farm, managing over 150 employees. Those years taught me discipline, patience, and what it really means to lead people.

Later, I moved into the truck industry and served as a general manager for four years. That experience helped me understand operations, logistics, and how to handle pressure in fast-moving environments. Two years ago, I shifted into the strategic communications field, where I now lead a start-up with a team of twelve. I focus on short-term goals, clear communication, and steady progress. These simple habits keep me grounded and help me guide my team through growth and challenges.

I believe success is measured by happiness and personal progress. I’ve been open about facing depression and working with a psychologist, and I think mental health should be part of every leader’s priorities. Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing golf, reading, and spending weekends with my wife, our three children, and our six dogs. I also volunteer at a food bank, which keeps me connected to my community.
