Aleja's friend and mentor, Sean Gardner, encouraged her to broaden her humanitarian scope and sharpen her branding skills. She became a #GivingTuesday Ambassador, and is now enjoying a fulfilling career as an independent Social Media Strategist, Content Creator and Speaker.
Aleja received her Social Media Master Strategist certificate through Social Media Marketing University. Her mentors were Jeff Schneider (Twitter), Jennifer Shaheen (Facebook), Viveka von Rosen (LinkedIn), Dan R. Morris (Business Blogging), Lou Bortone (Video Marketing), Ty Mays (Strategic Public Relations), Richard Weiler (Search Engine Optimization) and Simon Salt (Mobile Marketing for Business).
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs with a focus on International Affairs and a Paralegal Certificate at Northeastern University while staying active in Barkada, a Filipino student group.
Aleja received her Associate Degree in Business Management from Gibbs Boston (now Sanford-Brown). She spent a semester at American Intercontinental University in London, and was a guest speaker for incoming students upon graduation.
Her passion in life is to fight for those in need of a voice by working with government and state agencies, as well as public and private non-profits to assist individuals and groups reclaim their lives through branding and coaching.
