I am a DC-based policy, advocacy, and communications philanthropic program officer with government, non-profit, and private sector experience. I am also Google NextGen Policy Leader and participate in the Hispanics in Philanthropy NGen Lideres program. I serve as a board member of the American Digital Diversity Initiative. I have also acted as a digital director and field organizer and trainer for eight campaign cycles at the local, state, and national level. Previously, I led the development of tech and workforce research and policy solutions that have a positive impact on communities of color. I have previous experience in K-12 education policy and research, with particular expertise in STEM education and computer science. I also worked in the tech sector as a customer service technician, IT analyst, and web/app developer for over seven years and in the classroom as a teacher's assistant and ESL teacher.
