Hey, I’m Aleks. I make knives by hand out of Edison, NJ.

I work with some pretty wild materials — stuff like crystallized titanium and mosaic Damascus steel — and I’m always experimenting. Some knives end up clean and simple, others get real intricate. Just depends on the mood.

Outside the shop, I’m into martial arts and spending time outdoors. I also like to write now and then, mostly about things I’m building or thinking through.
