Aleksa Š. Vučetić was born on 4th of August 1968 in Kotor, Montenegro. He was elected in the academic degree Assistant Professor at 2006 and Associate Professor at 2013, in the field of Tourism and Hotel Management, and at the University of Montenegro - Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Kotor. He was hired as - vice-dean for Academic Affairs, vice-dean for Scientific Research, mentor for Internship of students, president of the Commission for Postgraduate Studies, president of the Commission for the Provision and Improvement of the Quality System, and representative of the Faculty in the Professional Council of Social Science of the University of Montenegro. He was a manager of international projects (Erasmus+, Tempus IV, and LMOC) and the participant of international projects in the field of higher education (Tempus IV, Interreg III A, and Bilateral), financed by European Commission. He is a member of editorial board of the international academic journal „Tourism: An International Interdisciplinary Journal“ (CRO). He is an author of two books and many academic articles, indexed in the following international academic databases: Thomson Reuters Social Science Citation Index, SCOPUS, Cabell's Directories, EconLit, RepPec, Copernicus, C.A.B. International, Elsevier Geo Abstracts, C.I.R.E.T., etc.
