I once went on a school field trip to a forest when I was 9 yrs old and a mushroom tree the size of an "Ent" (from Lord of the Rings) and weirdly colored like something from Alice in Wonderland. Of course, no one ever believes me, but to this day I SWEAR this really happened. And this is just one of the many outlandish events in my life that have inspired me to be a fiction writer.

In earlier years, I've starred in the lead role of a theatrical comedy called "The 7 Keys of Bald Pate Inn," performed many times as an extra in various TV/film productions (in some of which I can clearly be seen), and have been told my two college professors (respectively) that I should be a teacher or run for President of the United States.

One of my goals is to launch an internet business related to my writing pursuits. For now, my online presence is mainly centered around my blog and various social media sites (including Google+, Twitter, and Facebook). As a blogger, my primary motivation is to inform, entertain, and inspire people to engage life outside the box by thinking more intelligently, honestly, and independently. Both nonfiction and fiction content can be found on my blog. As an aspiring novelist, my aim at this time is more heavily pointed toward simply entertaining readers.
