Growing up in an Italian family taught me many things; the most important being that food, whether we are laughing, crying, celebrating or mourning, is always an essential part of the experience. It was this fascination with food that lead me wonder how it could enhance our everyday lives; and eventually lead me down the path to studying Dietetics and McGill University. And now, as a Registered Dietitian, I’ve learnt to do just that; get the most out of food without it getting the most out of me. This lesson is one I enjoy sharing to help others reach their goals!
I have experience in both the corporate and private sectors of the field, both branches of which I thoroughly enjoy. Some of my specialties include weight loss, diabetes management and education, Nutrigenomix Genetic Testing, Sports Nutrition, and more. I also give grocery store tours and personalized meal plans. I have had the chance to work with professional chefs at Provigo Le Marche in Kirkland. I also have a private practice at Cappino Physiotherapy and Wellness Center.
I am passionate about public speaking and presenting information in an interesting way. This has lead me to develop What The Food; a series of podcasts, blogs and video posts that represent my philosophy on nutrition: Food isn’t boring, so talking about it shouldn’t be either!
