Born as a theater actor. He trained at the school of theater "La Scaletta" directed by Giuseppe Manzari and Gianni Diotaiuti. He worked in various stable theater companies of Italy for few years.

Has radically changed the industry by working for several years in civil aviation, without abandoning his artistic vein passing near side of the stage and the camera, producing numerous plays and short films until he gets to produce his first documentary film titled "Tutti giù per aria - L'aereo di carta" ("We All Fall Down air") about Alitalia dispute, with the Nobel Dario Fo, Marco Travaglio and Ascanio Celestini. "Suicidio Italia - Storie di estrema dignità" ("Suicide Italy"), about the crisis in Italy and Europe, is his second documentary film as a producer, which he won, among others, the Golden Globe as best documentary.
