Alessandro Usseglio Viretta

Alessandro likes catamaran sailing, Stanislaw's Lem's novels, working in the night, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' songs, Slashdot, cooking, Wim Wender's "Der Himmel über Berlin", walking in silent cities in the middle of the night. He worked on projects involving financial risk management, time-series prediction, modeling and simulation of complex networks and dynamical systems. He consulted for Oliver Wyman, London, and was a researcher at CERN, Geneva. He holds a PhD in Neuroinformatics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and a degree in Physics.
