Alessandro Cotrufo

Alessandro Cotrufo is an aspiring pilot and aviation enthusiast based in Simi Valley, California. He grew up in Southern California and became interested in flight at a young age. He pursued postsecondary studies at Moorpark College, focusing on technical and science subjects. Since 2022, he has been engaged in formal flight training at local flight schools, including Ventura County Flight Academy and Whiteman Airport programs. His training covers ground school, navigation, aircraft systems, and hands-on flight experience in general aviation aircraft. Alessandro shares his experiences and aviation knowledge online through writing and social media. Outside of aviation, he enjoys hiking, photography, and drone flying. His long-term goal is to build a career in aviation, including professional piloting or aviation operations, while continuing to learn and explore new skills.
