Alex Amar

I hold a Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) with a specialization in Knowledge Management (KM) from McGill University, an Hono(u)rs BA in Communications from the University of Ottawa, and a DEC in Performance from Marianopolis College.

I currently work as a Librarian at the Montreal Children's Hospital, part of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), where I provide reference services to doctors, medical students and occasionally the public; develop and deliver database and software training sessions, and otherwise help the library work smoothly.

I also served two terms as Executive Director of the Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate (CUSID), and continue to seek out opportunities to write, speak, act, solve and organize.
