Hi my name is Alex wickham, I am 26 years old and have rencently under went a kidney transplant at John Hopkins located in Baltimore Maryland. In 2009 after recieving results back from my doctor, I would find out that I had kidney failure. In 2010 I would have to start dialysis, so I choose to go on PD ( Peritoneal Dialysis) to maintain health, due to a full time job and the time needed for PD I would have to switch to hemodialysis. I was on Dialysis for 3 years until July 23, 2013 when I recieved a Kidney Transplant. I am still recovering from the Kidney transplant but my plan is to go back work in a year.
