Alexander Ashley

Hello, my name is Alexander. I am a social media manager, web developer, and father of 2 currently living in Hartford, Connecticut. I run a small marketing and design agency called "The Calm Above" and I help small businesses, non-profits, artists, and brands network and expand their online presence.

My interests range from web development to entrepreneurship. I am also interested in music production and studying various topics that peak my interest.

I have worked in many fields and have soaked up a tremendous amount of perspective on the skills one needs to be successful in any industry. I've worked as a chef, I've worked with children, I've worked for large pop culture conventions, and I ran a small painting franchise during my undergraduate years at UCONN. I've been marketing for different companies since I was 16 years old and ran my own radio show for 3 years while I was still in high school.

I love keeping myself busy with tasks and opportunities that can keep my skillset sharp and diverse. However, I am now work towards mastery in my field so I can be an overall PR specialist. Public Relations is the role that best encapsulates most of my strengths all that I have learned and accomplished up to this point.
