I am a Grade 11 IB student at Académie Ste. Cécile International School in Windsor, ON, with a passion for tackling real – world problems through STEM, especially when helping others in the community. I recently created and developed a novel navigation aid for the visually impaired, after experiencing firsthand the difficulties that that this group encounters in daily life, and represented Canada at the Intel International Science Fair (IISEF) in L.A. I am an avid musician, playing piano and guitar, as well as a passionate alpine skier, representing Canada at the 2011 International Children’s Games in Kelowna, B.C.
