Alex Staffa’s decision to study Chemistry is rooted in his interest in the foundations of the physical world. He has always been curious about atoms, molecules, and reactions, and how these small elements influence larger systems like the food we consume, the medicines we depend on, and the natural environment we share. For Alex, Chemistry is a field that offers both structure and discovery. He enjoys the problem-solving side of science and feels comfortable in lab environments where he can apply what he learns through observation and experimentation. He is especially interested in synthesizing new compounds, analyzing unknown materials, and contributing to research related to sustainable practices.
He combines attention to detail with creative thinking, which helps him approach scientific challenges from different angles. Through his Chemistry studies, Alex sees potential opportunities in areas such as pharmaceutical preparation, environmental science, forensics, and education. He appreciates the broad range of work this path may offer.
