In the course of 20 years as an attorney, Alexander Vrbanoff has developed expertise in the practice of immigration, medical malpractice, and personal injury law. Most recently, he represented clients in private practice in Chicago, during which time he won numerous political asylum cases and garnered approval for all types of visas, including business, family, and investor visas. In addition, he argued immigration litigation matters in Federal Administrative Court and at appellate deportation proceedings. While in private practice, Alexander Vrbanoff also worked as an immigration attorney with the Chicago law firm John D. Colbert and Associates, a position he held from 2002 to 2005.
Alexander Vrbanoff founded his private practice in 1993, prior to which he worked with Vrbanoff and Ulbert, a firm focused on immigration litigation and appellate practice. He came to this position from an Associate role at Robert C. Meltzer and Associates, where he worked on all types of immigration cases. Mr. Vrbanoff joined Robert C. Meltzer in 1990 after receiving his JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law. In addition to his JD, he holds a BA in International Business and Economics, an area of knowledge that he has applied to his work in immigration law. He has also appeared in Biltmore Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Alexander Vrbanoff enjoys international travel and speaks both Serbian and Bulgarian. He has studied world history extensively and continually strives to expand his cultural knowledge.
