Alexandra Singer

I am a qualified professional architect based in Cape Town, South Africa. After graduating from UCT and winning a Corobrik award, I worked at the foremost high-end residential architecture firm on the globe, SAOTA. I have recently stepped away from my corporate life in pursuit of a more meaningful existence through engaging in projects which are more aligned to my personal passions, values and future aspirations.

My passion for and connection to nature inspires me to use my architectural skills beyond the confines of cities, preferring to work in natural environments where my flair for materiality shines through. In this way I am able to work closely with people, getting to understand them and their context. When not behind my desk, you'll find me doing yoga, running with my dogs on the mountain, cooking up a storm, styling and photographing food, or writing poetry.
