Although at this point in my life I am extremely focused on my education, there is something I find time for everyday - exercise. Whether it is going to the gym, going for a run outside, taking a cardio kickboxing class, or doing the intense workout DVD Insanity, exercising is my way to de-stress. After completing a workout, I feel as if I can take on anything. In addition to feeling healthier, the sense of accomplishment I obtain from exercising is extraordinary.

While I hope to obtain a successful career as a CPA in the future, personal training is something I hope to do on the side. To help others become healthier, stronger, more confident, and all-around happier would be so rewarding.

In addition, I would like to encourage the youth of today to become more active and to share with them the significance of a healthy and active lifestyle. My life has always consisted of sports. In addition to improving fitness, playing sports is a great way to develop character and to learn the importance of teamwork and selflessness. I hope to coach in youth leagues in the future as a way to give back to the community while also conveying my passion for fitness to future generations.

As long as my knees allow me, I will continue to lead my active lifestyle. For me, exercise is my escape. No one can interfere with it, as I have the ability to somehow incorporate it into every day of my life. No matter how hectic life may become I can always count on a physically challenging workout to raise my spirits.

I encourage everyone to discover that one thing that makes you happy, that only you have control over, and to do it everyday!
