Dog Savvy was founded in 2017 by Alexandra Bassett, CPDT-KA, a certified professional dog trainer and behavior consultant with over 25 years of experience.

Originally established in Los Angeles, Dog Savvy built a reputation for transforming the lives of dogs and their guardians through positive, science-based training.

In 2025, Alexandra relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she now offers in-home private training for puppies and rescue dogs throughout Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, as well as custom online dog training for clients nationwide.
