Alexandra Calloway

Alexandra Calloway is an independent and driven young lady trying to find her niche in her post-grad life. After serving on the executive board of her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and being an active member in the Women in Excellence Leadership series, Alexandra is excited to graduate from Spelman College and utilize her leadership skills in the entertainment industry. Being born and raised in Los Angeles, California has introduced Alexandra to the entertainment world. She began her career in this industry as a semi professional dancer for the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. In 2012, Alexandra performed in a televised concert and the experience immediately sparked her interest in the television industry.

To gain experience within this industry, Alexandra has interned with The Front Page Firm, as the assistant to the head publicist. She booked clients for movie and television premieres, collaborated with media experts, and managed clients onsite at events. This experience equipped Alexandra with necessary skills to handle the busy and fast paced culture of the entertainment industry as she managed multiple projects at once. Alexandra also has interned with the events team at Hearst Corporation and The Professional Diversity Network. As the events marketing intern for both companies, Alexandra learned how to produce events to completion and create successful campaigns to market the events. As Alexandra continues her career in the entertainment industry, she is moving to New York City in hopes to secure a position at a public relations agency that manages clients in fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle branding. Alexandra is excited to begin her career in New York City and hopes to be very engaged in the artistic culture there.
