I am currently a student of the journalism program at Ryerson University. Current affairs and writing are my passions, specifically within the realms of politics and international relations. Most of my time is devoted to CNN, BBC Radio and Anderson Cooper, although I take most inspiration from such female journalists as Christiane Amanpour and Kati Marton.
I have experience writing for the secondary school paper, The Vaughan Vox serving as a frequent writer and columns editor. Currently, I spend my time as an editorial intern at WORN Fashion Journal, which allows me to revel in the worlds of fashion, feminism and history.
I'm fascinated by people interaction and the ways in which societies respond to their leaders and overall global environments. I hope to one day write for Foreign Policy, Macleans or The New York Times...or perhaps all three.
