Alexandra M. Landeros

Alexandra Maria Landeros has a B.A. in History and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Texas State University. She has worked in Public Relations for Mexic-Arte Museum, Descuento Libre, and in her own agency, Plum Communications.

She currently writes for LatinoMetro, Austin Post, and Popular Hispanics, and on her personal blogs Undercover Mexican Girl and Ecoloxica. When she's not writing or promoting, she's playing the violin, making short films, tending her organic garden and participating in the local food movement, and pursuing an eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle.

She hopes to one day live in an off-grid home on her 5-acre property in the Big Bend desert region of Texas, or live in a city where everyone walks and rides bikes.
