Alexandre Nascimento Braga Teixeira

Alexandre spent his childhood in music education before going on to study communication & film studies in his home town of São Paulo | Brasil. He also worked as a Line Producer and Assistant Director in commercials and non-commercial projects there. He later settled in Lisbon – Portugal, years after his first short film, and dedicated himself to direct and produce advertising & TV projects. Now with this own production company, he has decided to return to the world of motion poetry, fiction and drama. in addition to creating a cultural platform aimed at the non-formal education of children and young people through the transforming power of art and narratives.
Also back to academic activities, he is currently a PhD candidate in Communication Sciences at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Professor of Audiovisual Communication at a renowned professional school in Lisbon.
