I am an independent international trade and development specialist focusing on the global agri-food chain and work at the nexus of business, economy, regulation, policy and government.

My areas of expertise include:

· Strategy – Trade Advisory, Geopolitical Foresight, Independent Counsel, Investment Pathfinding

· Markets – Ags & Softs, ETC’s, ETF’s, Futures, Options & Forex

· Operations – International Trade Activity, Joint Ventures & Brokerage

I act as independent external counsel to senior leadership teams helping navigate critical decisions, develop strategic options and manage complex issues.

Through a structured Red Team approach I act as a 'critical friend' highlighting unidentified challenges and opportunities.

I undertake international trade advocacy and commercial diplomacy, facilitating business, political and regulatory liaison between stakeholders with significant experience of operating in highly dynamic and complex environments.

I am an experienced chair, board member of a number of commercial and not for profit organisations and regularly facilitate events and discussions.

Additionally, I am proactive in developing thought leadership, commentary and speaking on the agri-food chain, international trade, development, investment and sustainable natural resource management.

My professional qualifications include international trade and finance, operations management, agriculture and operational security risk management.
