Student and Photographer in Portland, Oregon
Hi, my name is Alex Crull and I am a student and photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I moved to Oregon in 2015 after I decided I wanted to leave Wisconsin which had been my home for the first 19 years of my life. I usually went on vacations in the summer in middle and high school, and started to see other states and the unique beauty they all have. My father got me into photography when I was in middle school. I would take my little 13 megapixel point-and-shoot camera and I would watch my dad with his DSLR. I would learn techniques and composition from him, slowly developing my photographic eye.
After going to school for Wildlife Ecology for a year at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, I realized it wasn't for me. I'm not sure what made me realize I had the potential to be a photographer, but whatever it was I'm glad it happened. I currently attend Mount Hood Community College.
I am a photographer with strong skills in composition, lighting and the decisive moment who is adventurous, hard working and funny.
