I went to the University of Pittsburgh to study a dual concentration in Philosophy and Political Science before touring full-time as a musician. I moved to Hollywood, California where I lived for close to four years neck deep in a mecca of progressive ideas and culture. I developed creative interactive branding strategies for major labels and niche brands in film, fashion, music and technology industries using traditional Public Relations methods as well as cutting-edge Social Media Marketing.
I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I manage interactive brand development for a legendary live music venue. I co-founded a media consulting company called the Cursive Creative Group this year and I'm excited to see the business grow during 2011. I also founded createnotconsume.org, an interactive digital thinktank.
My hobbies are mostly work related which is certainly a contradiction but I also enjoy developing a mental encyclopedia of indie-culture history and writing existential fiction. I love the band, Fugazi.
