Alexei Orlov

Alexei Orlov is the founder and CEO of mtm choice, which is a family of leading specialist brand activation agencies with high precision, tech-enabled creativity at its core. Bolstered by unique market-enabling technologies, mtm agencies seek to help brands and clients excel at the “moments that matter” (mtm) for their customers and consumers. Not only that, but mtm's portfolio consists of non-competing specialist agencies that thrive better together. The company has completed three acquisitions and will be closing a fourth in January 2019. Overall, mtm fosters more than 100 clients, more than 100 employees, and have offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Milan.

mtm choice is currently in negotiations to complete a further $100 Million of funding to support additional Top Tier acquisitions, and a fourth acquisition will be finalised by the end of February 2019. The upcoming year will certainly be a busy one for Alexei and mtm choice — six more brands are in various stages of negotiation to be acquired by the company.

Prior to his venture with mtm, Alexei Orlov served as Senior Advisor to the CEO & Chairman of DAS, which is an international $8 Billion division of Omnicom Group. He also served as Global CEO of RAPP where he oversaw a dramatic turnaround in business, attracting new companies and management talent through a successful rebranding initiative.

As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Volkswagen Group China, Alexei Orlov was responsible for the marketing and brand positioning of Volkswagen Brands across Greater China and ASEAN. As a member of Volkswagen’s executive team, Alexei was jointly responsible for the commercial excellence of the company’s significant regional business. Additionally, he had an opportunity to speak about his work at the Global Design Forum in London, which provides a unique platform for thinking about the future of human society and design.

Alexei Orlov also worked at Wunderman for eight years as President (Europe), then as Global COO and finally as Executive Vice-Chairman (Worldwide).
