Fotios is a technology entrepreneur with more than 20 years of hands-on IT experience.

In recent years he has been consistently top rated as an IT freelancer on sites like upwork.com and elance.com with world rankings as high as #34. His tested IQ score is 146.

He holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from a top UK technical University. In the past he has worked as a freelance consultant and senior developer in the UK private sector and as a member of the Cybersecurity R&D team at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.

His work has included leading the design, development and final successful deployment of ERCA, the European Root Certification Authority for the European Digital Tachograph System (https://dtc.jrc.ec.europa.eu/), as well as the conceptualization, design, and proof-of-concept prototype development of SecNet-IE, an e-platform for Critical Infrastructures Information Exchange among EU governments (http://re-trust.dit.unitn.it/files/20081015Doc/session3-2-Basagiannis.pdf).

As part of his duties, while he was a member of the European Commission's IPSC (Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen), he actively provided technical support to Scotland Yard, Europol and Interpol, in apprehending online scammers all over the globe.
