Alex Gallacher

My name is Alex Gallacher and I’m an aspiring writer and reporter based out of Toronto, Ontario. I have worked for a long list of clients including the Ryerson Rams, the CWHL, the Brampton Beast and most recently NASCAR Home Tracks. Ever since I was young, I have always had a passion for writing. I hope one day to work up to become a broadcaster for NASCAR on NBC.

I have always had a passion not just for writing but for racing as well. I have always been fascinated by these amazing pieces of engineering and seeing how each competitor drivers on the track. When I’m at the track, I write things like qualifying reports, practice stats and race recaps. I also conduct interviews with the drivers themselves to use in Race Central Live which is run during race weekends.

I have most recently started a series called “Getting to Know” where I conduct 1 on 1 interviews with the drivers and give fans the chance to know the real person behind the firesuit.
