Alexis Howell

My name is Alexis Howell and I'm a small business owner living in Sydney, Australia. I am interested in social work, and currently on placement at Jewish House in Bondi as part of a Diploma in Community services (case management).

I completed an MBA at Deakin University in 2022, and really enjoyed Marketing, Strategy and Social Media content creation. I launched a small business consultancy firm - Eden Ocean - at the end of 2021.

Eden Ocean offered consultancy services for start-ups and existing small businesses in Australia. From strategic planning to branding, content creation and marketing plans, Eden Ocean offered assessments plus ongoing practical support.

My background includes owning multiple small businesses, designing and importing goods for retail sale, podcast hosting, blogging, songwriting, and undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and medical science.

I am a fan of kickboxing, coffee, and tai chi. I’m also interested in innovation and sustainability.

I am a big believer that life is what happens whilst you're busy making other plans! However my current plans involve moving into social work and meaningful employment.
