Alexis Tompkins
Alexis, a native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, is a graduate of Newbury College’s class of 2015 with a bachelor of arts in Psychology and a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice. In her studies at Newbury College, she has focused her psychology research projects on Antisocial Personality Disorder and community programs. She has also studied and analyzed recent criminal cases in semester assessments for her victimology, criminology, and criminal profiling courses. Alexis’ work experience in her desired field has included an internship at the Boston’s Department of Labor- Solicitor’s office as a paralegal intern where she learned valuable skills in litigation.
While at Newbury College, Alexis was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Psi Chi, and Nu Beta Upsilon. Alexis’ plans after her May 2015 graduation, plans on going to grad school for criminology. From there she wants to obtain her doctorate and forensic psychology certificate.
In her free time Alexis knits, crochets, and paints to sell or donate.
