I grew up in NJ, went to Spelman College and studied Political Science and Film. Interned at Scholastic, Inc. Government Relations & Community Affairs department and participated in their Fellowship with the Children's Defense Fund. Worked for a third generation family owned and operated company doing business development and operations. Served as a Program Assistant for Programs at Living Cities, Inc. that transitioned into Collective Impact work for our members that consist of 22 of the world's largest foundations and financial institutions. Currently working at the Admiral Center, which is an initiative of Living Cities, Inc. focusing on harnessing the power of celebrity to better the lives of low-income people.

The Root- Freelance Event and Content Producer for The Root 100 Fireside Chat. The Root is the premier news, opinion and culture site for African-American influencers. Produced their Fireside Chat event including but not limited to: event management, logistics, volunteer management, and coordination of layout. Also, managed the content for the event, provided content strategies and topic guidance.

Member of the New York Chapter of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) Steering Committee.
