Building on 30+ years of experience, Alexis is a "woman of distinction" and "top woman in PR", as recognized by PR Week and PR News, respectively. She has established a reputation as a respected communications strategist and leader in the industry. She is president and CEO of PRecise Communications, a 25-year-old, award-winning Atlanta-based PR firm specializing in connecting leading consumer brands with multicultural audiences.

Alexis is responsible for creating breakthrough programs for major consumer brands. She has provided communications counsel for leading companies such as Coca-Cola, Toyota, Lexus and Pfizer. For Coca-Cola, she led nearly 100 campaigns including the launch of the innovative Fridge Pack. Her work with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store established the first-ever scholarship for history students at Spelman College, which will impact deserving students for years to come. In addition, she has helped to improve relationships between Toyota and multicultural media, influencers and communities.

Prior to PRecise, Alexis worked at Ketchum, a top 10 global PR firm, where she traveled the world supporting several key consumer accounts. She co-founded the agency’s African American Markets Group, the first in-house ethnic marketing team created by an international PR firm. Her work then, and since, has made her a multicultural marketing veteran and nationally recognized expert.

She was also a co-founder of The Change Agencies, the PR industry’s first national collective of firms to offer inclusive communications services to effectively represent, engage and connect with African American, Asian American, Latinx and LGBTQ communities.

Alexis has received a number of industry awards including a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and multiple Phoenix Awards from PRSA/GA. She is a past president of the Black Public Relations Society/Atlanta and a former board of directors member for the Atlanta Business League (ABL) and HOPE Atlanta. ABL recognized her one of "Atlanta's 100 Black Women of Influence." As mentioned, she was also recognized in PR News’ 2022 class of “Top Women in PR” and the 2024 group of PR Week's prestigious “Women of Distinction”.

She has been featured as a multicultural and diversity and inclusion authority in Vanity Fair and leading industry trades, PR Week, O'Dwyers and PR Daily. She has also been a speaker at a variety industry conferences and gatherings.
