Alexis is a theatre actor born and raised in London, Ontario. She is returning to The Stratford Festival, for her second season as Anne Egerman in A Little Night Music. She made her Stratford debut last year as Julie Jordan in Carousel, Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music, and Clara in Sondheim's Passion. Selected theatre credits include: Iris, in the world premiere of The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble (Factory Theatre & Obsidian Theatre Company), Obeah Opera (Nightwood Theatre), Recurring John and Paradises Lost (Toronto's SummerWorks Festival), Starbright Christmas, Canada Sings, and Godspell (Victoria Petrolia Playhouse), and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Driftwood Theatre). Alexis was the inaugural female winner of both the “Syd and Shirley Banks Prize for Emerging Artists” in the 2012/2013 season with Acting Up Stage Theatre Company and the Amy Wallis Memorial Guthrie Award at The Stratford Festival. Alexis is a graduate of the BFA Acting program at The University of Windsor.
