Alexis Saar

Alexis Saar is a Senior Dance major at Dean College currently working towards achieving her BA in Dance. She is a dancer and an educator who also loves to perform. She currently teaches modern and tap at The Conklin Dance Academy. She has performed in many Dean College shows such as Faculty Works,Choreographers Concert, and Company.She has recently performed performed in the ensemble of the cast for In The Heights. Theater is something that Alexis is very excited about and she would love to involve theater into her future life. She has recently been accepted into the Boston Tap Company. She looks forward to performing on a professional stage. While at Dean College she has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, and composition classes. She really loves to tap and is a member of the Dean College Tap Team known as Loose Screws. She is looking forward to auditioning after she graduates from Dean. She is also very interested in teaching at the college level and is currently looking at graduate schools to attend. Her goal is to someday step foot on a Broadway stage and to have a career in teaching at a college level program. She will continue to keep her love and passion for dance throughout her future.
